Outside in, inside out.
The spectacular façade of the edel:weiss towers was designed with sophistication in mind. The outer veil, a construction of wooden diamonds, serves as a boundary and a protection for the inside from without, and at the same time it acts as a link with the surrounding natural world. Behind it, at the second level, a wide, encircling balcony, which creates the edel:weiss's unparalleled residential atmosphere. The final, inner shell is the protective skin for the accommodation. It is 50 percent glass and it brings plenty of light and the spacious feel of the mountain panorama into every edel:weiss apartment.
Quality and special features
The magnificent panoramic location with a marvellous view of Carinthia and Salzburg is unparalleled and absolutely nothing can get in its way. The special, tower style construction, the high-grade, design-oriented, detailed planning work and the unique façade give the edel:weiss residences a distinctive and impressive character.
Tower and nature
The elevations of the two apartment towers follow the course of the terrain − dramatically but sensitively imitating the naturally sloping hillsides. One special feature is the basement‘s densely-planted roof. This is designed as the main, pedestrianised entrance level and draws the two striking towers into the terrain.
Design and craftsmanship
The external appearance − emphasised by the façade − is reminiscent of an upright fir cone. The wooden lattice construction with special larch mouldings gives the apartments a compact, monolithic outline, but at the same time it serves as an aesthetically-pleasing outer casing. Despite the very latest architectural styling, when examined closely, this special diamond construction has a crafted, ornamental effect. Katschberg and edel:weiss – an integrated whole in touch with nature.
